Q: What did one snowman say to the other?
At our Christmas Special we had festive films, Santa hats, chocolate coins and beer, we were just missing a turkey and your Dad falling asleep in a paper hat. We also had a very special visit from Father Christmas who took time out of his busy schedule to be with us.
Hilary Audus gave a great talk about her work on Christmas classic The Snowman, its development and production techniques, she even showed us some of the original artwork and animation cels!
Afterwards we had more drinks and music from Cliff Richard, Elton John and Shakin' Stevens, unfortunately none of them could make it in person.

Hilary Audus
We were really excited to welcome Christmas animation royalty Hilary Audus as our guest speaker.
Hilary co-scripted, boarded and animated on the Christmas classic, "The Snowman" and directed and scripted another Raymond Brigg's story, “The Bear”. More recently she co-wrote and directed the sequel to “The Snowman”, “The Snowman and The Snowdog”.
Over her career Hilary's has received several awards for “Best Director” as well as her films receiving nominations for BAFTAS and also being short-listed for an Oscar!
