Following the haunting sounds of Count Roy Palmer's Theremin, we kicked off the evening with a fun little séance, unfortunately one of our audience became possessed by the Devil and we had to call in a priest for an impromptu exorcism, holy water, levitating table, Tubular Bells and all.

Lots of scary, funny and unsettling animated shorts followed, along with our Quick Quiz and screening of all the spooky microMorsels animation challenge entries!

We had the first public demonstration of our Re-Animation machine, but first we had to send Max into the castle dungeons to retrieve the required body parts, wearing the Helmet of Justice we borrowed from our old pal Treguard. Naked trolls, riddles, giant axes and spiders had to be overcome, along with a very angry dragon who escaped the dungeon, luckily we had enough spears on hand to drive it away. The Re-Animation machine worked a treat, although the creature did escape into the night.

Sam Pillar took us through how he uses Moho in his work before Teagan Ball took us into another dimension to explain how she animates in virtual reality!

Matt Partridge then gave a great talk about his inspirations, career so far, designing fun characters, personal projects, directing other animators and his thoughts on AI!

At the end of the evening DJ Brain Cheese emerged from the dungeons to conduct our afterparty with his spooky tunes.
